Brooklyn Busman, from Marietta, Georgia, will be graduating in December 2021 with a degree in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design from Georgia College & State University. Art has always been a huge part of her life from the very beginning. Before college, Brooklyn dedicated most of her time to competitive dancing. However, after entering college, she decided it was time to focus on a career and switched her major to art, a new creative outlet for her future. Through her studies in college, Brooklyn has become a well-rounded graphic designer. She has been working part-time for Oldcastle, located in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduation, Brooklyn hopes to have a full-time job that will continue to give her a unique experience to continue diversifying her portfolio.

Chill Dawg is a portable, cooling dog mat made with washable, durable fabric that one can roll up and encased in a carrying strap for easy portability. The Chill Dawg company advertises convenient and innovative products for all dog owners. I was inspired to create this product when I was sitting outside of a restaurant with my dog who was lying on the dirty, hot sidewalk beside me. I decided to put my graphic designing skills to use and create branding for a company and product that would benefit all dog owners, focusing my design on bright colors, fabric designs, and other advertising strategies that I researched to set my company apart from others.
