Work is not for sale
I am fascinated with the regenerative process of taking odd and seemingly unfunctional places in our day to day lives and giving them specific purposes. This mental captivation guides my mind to seek solutions to solve the riddles of giving functional use to the material useless. With an undeniable struggle to leave a place that I call my own unmodified or custom, I find myself in an almost never-ending cycle of revision and attempts when making a thing or place “my own”. With this site-specific installation, I plan on taking a space that inspires my desire for a solution. I plan on creating a studio/work environment out of specially tailored wooden shelves, desks, and drawers to display how even the dullest of areas can become zones of creative zeal.
